It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
This week the challenge is … “anything goes”.

I have been contemplating (for some time now) about opening a little business on the side. I have a name in place “Bags, Banners and Boxes, Oh My!"   Nothing like a little business venture where you’re combining something you love to do with work. I’ll be posting more information on this later.

Here's a little sample of things to come.  I created this set for a little girl’s birthday party.

It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
This week the challenge is to use “stripes and/or circles”.

First I completed a lo, but decided to use that for another challenge J

When I saw this Paper Mache Confetti Bowl I knew I had to try making one.

The night I had set aside to try this I forgot all about making the recipe for the glue … darn! I just used Mod Podge and it worked just fine!  I used a 1 1/2" circle punch and scrap paper which I seem to somehow hoard.

The challenge this week for the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog is to “use ribbon and at least 1 button”.

I try to have birthday cards made up ahead of time. But it seems I never have enough. So I’ve been working on replenishing my stash. This was a quick card to make using cardstock, a rosette with some ribbon, a button, a punch scalloped circle and a happy birthday sticker. I love the variety of stickers that you can get at SMR Stickers.

It’s time for the Monday challenge at Kaboodle Doodles.

The challenge this week is “For The Ladies”

I’m not going to lie … this challenge had me a little baffled. I had no idea what I was going to do for it. Then I remembered that I had stumbled across a blog a while back that had these amazing little dresses make out of paper. Try as I might I could not find the original blog posting. But after several tries I think I came pretty close to creating what I had in my mind. I’ll say these were not easy to make but worth the effort. If I can muster up the mojo I would like to make about six more of these little dresses. I can see them hanging on a length of ribbon with clothes pins, a little dress banner.

I finished off the back of the dress with a cute little bow.
