Christmas Peat Pots

I'm going to say that these little peat pots are my new favorite thing to alter!  And the bonus is everything I have used to make these was in my stash.  I knew there was a good reason why I hoarded ... I mean save crafty supplies.

A card, a layout and a peat pot ... Oh My!

A card, a layout and a peat pot … Oh My! I’ve been busy to say the least.
I have 3 projects to share today …

First up is a Design Team Project for the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog.

I created this card using the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #915 with no insert. I LOVE using the Kreaxions punches to fancy up my borders! I also used the punch on my banner pieces which just added that special little touch.

My second project is for the Mini Crop at Turtle Soup. My theme is family and my challenge to you is to create a layout, card, tag, ATC or an altered project using the family theme along with a doily and flowers. You have until Sunday November 30th at12:00 p.m. EST to play along. Add your project to the Turtle Soup Gallery. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Love using my messy supplies -Gesso canvas primer, Liquitex Super Heavy Gesso, stencils, and Tattered Angels paints.

Prima Flowers

My third project is also for the Mini Crop at Turtle Soup. My theme for this challenge is Christmas.   My challenge to you is to create a layout, card, tag, ATC or an altered project and it must have paint and lace on it. Again you have until Sunday November 30th at12:00 p.m. EST to play along. Add your project to the Turtle Soup Gallery.
For my project I altered a peat pot (love these things).  The possibilities are limitless!  Going through my stash I found enough hoarded supplies to create this fun little vintage Christmas goodie.

November Linnie Blooms DT Project

My creative process … generally my ideas for projects never materialize when I’m trying to come up with them. Most of the time project ideas pop into my head when I’m busy cooking dinner, doing laundry or trying to fall asleep. The creative process is a weird and wonderful thing! This months inspiration piece made me think of fall and feathers.

Since I’m on a bookmark making binge I chose to use one of the Linnie Blooms Canvas Bookmarks along with the Linnie Blooms Feather Stencil and Mask. Some Tim Holtz Distress inks, a button and some twine were perfect for completing this project.

Boots

Today I have a Design Team Project up on the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog. For this page I used the Kreaxions Star Stencil and the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #918 with the A insert to make the doily. I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #903 with no insert to make the border strip. What a fun page!  Be sure to check out the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team did this week.
