Spring Has Sprung

Today there is a Design Team Reveal up on the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog. I hope you can stop by the blog and check out all the inspiring projects from the  rest of the Design Team.

For my “spring” themed project I created a card using the Circle Cutter (one of my favorite tools) and the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #304 (for the border strip). I live in Ohio so “spring has not sprung” yet. I can wish can’t I lol!

Friends Card

I have a Design Team project up on the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog today. In my arsenal of paper crafting tools punches are pretty much a staple.  One of my favorite ways to use my punches is to create border strips.  I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #305 with no insert to create these detailed border strips. The border strips add the perfect fancy edge for this card.

TTT at Turtle Soup

I’ll try any technique at least once and I think I’ve found one that I’ll be using again and again. Using cotton fabric and Alcohol ink to create flowers … love this idea! I’ve been inspired to use all those Alcohol inks I have sitting in a drawer (that are never used). Tina from ScrapDiva Tina shared this on the Off The Rails Scrapbooking Blog.

I have the Tuesday Tools, Tips and Technique Challenge at Turtle Soup today.
My challenge to you is to create a layout, card, tag, ATC or altered project that has a flower on it. You have to use ink (any kind) on the flower. You have all month to play along. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!  Check out the details at Turtle Soup.

Relax

Last week I had a staycation (don’t do that very often). I not only got the spring cleaning done I had time to play with my Cricut and the Life is a Beach cartridge. I made a card for my challenge at Turtle Soup (Saturday All Sorts) staying with the tropical theme.
Hope you can join us for this months challenges at Turtle Soup!

Saturday All Sorts Challenge at Turtle Soup

Welcome to Saturday All Sorts at Turtle Soup:

With all the crazy cold weather we have had it’s hard to imagine anything tropical for this year. But the fact is I’m seeing large floral prints, pineapples, pink flamingos and palm trees in everything from fashion to home decorating ideas … a trend for 2015. So my challenge to you is to create a layout, card, tag, ATC or altered project with a tropical theme. You have all month long to play along. Be sure to post your project in the gallery and link it back here to share with us. I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

I created this card using my Cricut and the Wild Card and Life is a Beach cartridges.

I also have a Design Team Project up on the Just Imagine Crafts/ Kreaxions Punches Blog today. I created this page for Gracelynn’s album. Every thing I used was from my never ending stash of supplies. I created the circle using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter (one of my favorite tools) and the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #921. I also used the A Stencil and the 8cm (small) Positioning Parts
I love the details this punch provides!
