"All Things Red/Love"

There is a Design Team Reveal up on the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog today.
Stop by and check out the rest of the Design Team’s creations.
For the theme “All Things Red/Love” I created this 5 ½ X 5 ½ card. I used the B Stencil, the Circle Cutter, the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #921 and Positioning Parts 6.8 (small).
I love the dainty little details this punch adds to my projects.

Valentine's Day Blog Hop

There’s a special Valentine’s Day blog post up on the Off The Rails Scrapbooking Blog today. Be sure to check out all the amazing projects created by the design team.
I used this cute photo of my daughter Jessica and her girls to create a page.

Do you know someone who looks amazing in every photo ever taken of them? That would be my daughter Jessica. She is just naturally photogenic. I think it has a lot to do with being able to smile naturally and look relaxed in front of the camera, which doesn’t seem to be something that everybody can do. I know this from personal experience lol!

I used up some patterned paper scraps I had for the hearts and added a little of this and a little of that from my stash. I love it when I can put a page together with things I have hoarded
… I mean saved for such an occasion.

Saturday All Sorts

I have the Saturday All Sorts Challenge today at Turtle Soup. Since tomorrow is Valentines Day I’m sharing these cute little treat containers that were shipped to Florida for the grandsons to give their teachers.  I used my Cricut and the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cartridge and some K & Company embellishments. My challenge is to create a project using hearts and the color pink. Check out the details in the Turtle Soup forum.

Hello Magic

Today is Friday and I have a card up on the Just Imagine Crafts/Kreaxions Punches Blog.

Did you know Valentine greetings have been popular since the Middle Ages ... and who doesn't like receiving a Valentine?!

I created this card using the following Kreaxions  products:
To make the border strip I used the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch # 917 with no insert. To make the doily I used the star stencil and the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #917 with the A insert. Running the background through my embosser added some texture. The rest of the supplies I found in my stash.

TTT at Turtle Soup 2/2

I’m sharing the TTT (Tools, Tips & Techniques) on Turtle Soup today with a challenge. Check out the Turtle Soup Forum for the challenge details.

I Love this photo of Gracelynn in her cowgirl boots. I knew I wanted to create a page for this photo that was “soft” so I was thinking water colours. There is just something about creating your own custom background paper with paint … the possibilities are endless.

The only problem was I didn’t have any pastel water colours. But I did have some Acrylic paint that I got at Hobby Lobby on sale for 34 cents a bottle. I just watered down the acrylic paint, loaded my foam brush with each colour and lots of water and allowed the paint to drip down the paper. I was in a hurry to see my finished product so after I applied each colour I dried it with a heat gun.

Using a stencil and some super heavy Gesso I added some texture to the page.

I kept this page fairly simply and just added a few embellishments and some Prima Flowers.
