It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
Challenge #153 - “Vintage”

Be sure to link your project to the inlinkz tool on the
Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog. To be eligible for the prize draw you need to be linked by Sunday, January 13th.

One random drawn prize winner will receive 5 digi stamps from Eureka.

A few years ago the agency that I work for had new windows put in our school building. I’m the one who had to deal with the contractor on a daily basis, setting up dates and times when he could get his crew in to complete the job. One day (and I have no idea how this conversation started) we started talking old windows. I told the guy I would love to have some old windows to alter (and he had no idea what that was, so I had to explain lol!). To my surprise a few days later he brought me 4 old windows that they had taken out of a house and he thought I could use them for my altering projects. The windows have sat in the corner of the garage all this time. Randy has threatened to throw them out on several occasions but I kept telling him that I wanted them for some special projects.

When I saw that the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge for this week was “Vintage” I knew it was time to alter one of those windows. Randy was a big help with this project and painted the window black and added the hardware needed for hanging it. I made the banner, distressed the edges, inked it and added the vintage photos. I think it’s the perfect accent for our little vintage corner in the living room.
