I'm beyond thrilled to be the Guest Designer for October on the Just Imagine Crafts Kreaxions Punches Blog!
I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a little technically challenged … ok more than a little, I’ll say a lot lol! We have an alarm clock I don’t know how to set, I have a smart phone that is smarter than I am and I don’t pump my own gas. So when I received my Kreaxions punch and supplies from Just Imagine Crafts I was a little intimidated when I saw them. The circle cutter, the 4 in 1 punch, the stencils … whoa … the positioning parts! How was I going to figure all this out?! Let me tell you that after watching the video tutorials from the blog just once I felt confident and started experimenting and creating the following projects.

For the “Spooky Card” I had wanted to try making these flowers out of newspaper for months and never did because … who has time to cut out all those circles. Using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter I found I could cut through several layers of newspaper at once, what a timesaver! Using the Kreaxions 4 in 1 punch #312 with no insert I created the perfect border to finish off the card.

For the “Boo” card I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut a perfect circle which I distressed and then mounted my title on. Using the Kreaxions #312 4 in 1 punch I made a border and then embellished it with pearls.

I wanted to do something special for this layout “Expecting Gracelynn”. It’s for our daughter who is expecting their 6th child and their first girl. I used the Kreaxions B circle template along with the positioning system and the #312 4 in 1 punch to create the punched circle. I also added some extra detail to the corners by using the #312 punch with the C insert. I love the results!

Be sure to check out the Just Imagine Crafts Kreaxions Punches Blog for lots of inspiration from some very talented ladies on their Design Team.
