It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week is Easter/Early Spring. In February we went to FL to visit my daughter and her family. I noticed she had an adorable banner (that she had made at MOPS) hanging in her living room. I thought it would be a great idea for her to have a banner for every holiday or at least every season to hang up. With 6 children this would be no easy task for her to accomplish lol!

So I made this spring banner for her and shipped it off to FL.

It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week is “bows, lace, pearls or anything with frills”.  I decided to make this yummy looking cake box complete with pearl trim.  I got a new Cricut cartridge - Sweet Tooth Boxes, and I’m going to say that right now this is my favorite cartridge … oh the possibilities.

It’s Monday and time for the weekly challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog. The challenge for this week is “3 dimensional”.

If you're a paper crafter then you have paper scraps! I have a lot of scraps and one of my goals for this year was to use them up. I made this card using scraps from Echo Park, Crate Paper and Authentique.

It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
This week the challenge is “anything but a square”.

I have a lot of Cricut cartridges that I have not used yet (just no time to play) and a few favorites that I have had for awhile and have not explored enough.

One of my goals is to put some time aside each week and experiment with some of those cartridges.

This week I used my Cricut and the Wild Card cartridge to create this card.

I love the "quote" shape of this card and the scalloped frame.

Challenge #157  - “Use Hearts, or any Heart Shaped Project"

I completed a layout for Gracelynn's album but the more I looked at it the more I didn't like it. I thought something was missing?

So I went back to the planning board and made some changes.

I … Stitched on some of the hearts
Changed the color of the little flag from pink to gray
Added another doily
Placed chipboard on the horse
Took off the strip of hearts
Added gathered ribbon and some buttons
Added a feather
And gave it a new title
I can’t believe the difference those few easy changes made. And now it’s complete and I love it!
