It’s Monday and time for another challenge on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog.
Challenge #155 - “Ribbon”
I had so many ideas for using ribbon it was hard to just pick one project.
There was a lamp in the living room that was screaming I’m to plain! So I gave the shade an easy update by wrapping ribbon vertically around the shade and knotting it at the bottom. What were the chances of finding the same color of ribbon as the stripes on the walls?!
I also made a few bookmarks. For some of them I just wove one end of a 12” length of ribbon through a ribbon charm. I then pulled about an 1 ½” of the ribbon back under and secured it with a brad.
For the other bookmarks I used ribbon clamps. They are the same width as the ribbon. I used a pair of flat nose jewelry pliers to affix the claps to both ends of the ribbon. I finished them off by adding a charm. I’m thinking these will make cute teacher gifts.
Be sure to link your project to the inlinkz tool on the Kaboodle Doodles Challenge Blog. To be eligible for the prize draw you need to be linked by Sunday, January 28th.
One random drawn prize winner will receive 5 digis from QKR Stampede.

I don't know which I like better ~ the lamp shade or the bookmarks. They're both FAB and so creative ~ that's what I love about your work!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with cheryl, both FAB projects. Just love the lamp shade though x
